I have a tutorial on how to do this here. Obtain the episodes elsewhere (or rip them from a DVD/Blu-Ray) and use mkvmerge to combine them with their corresponding audio file. However, these folders do NOT contain the episodes, only the audio files for them.

For episodes 96, 97, and 98, I used a combination of my music selections and kei17's, as they were never officially aired with the Yamamoto soundtrack. Nearly all tracks from the Japanese broadcast are here, including the unreleased tracks that never made it onto a CD. Videl and Gohan's fights in the tournament are similarly trimmed even more in the Japanese version while a victory party following Kid Buu's defeat is removed entirely.I have re-inserted the original Kenji Yamamoto soundtrack into parts 5-8 of the English dub of "Dragon Ball Z Kai". Running at eight episodes less, the Japanese version of Kai omits even more of Gohan's antics as Saiyaman while the final match in the Junior Division of the World Martial Arts Tournament between Trunks and Goten is re-edited into later episodes. Goku and Vegeta's battle against mental projections of Gotenks, Gohan and Piccolo are removed entirely while Goku and Vegeta's climactic bout against Kid Buu on the Supreme Kai's planet has been trimmed considerably. Many of the subsequent fights are similarly shortened to accommodate the shortened episode order, including Goku's confrontation with Majin Vegeta, Gohan's battles against Super Buu and the fused warrior Vegito's fight with Buu. Instead, The Final Chapters begin with the seven-year time jump as Gohan attends high school though his exploits under his superhero alter ego of the Great Saiyaman are significantly truncated. The changes to the final storylines in Z are evident immediately, with the Other World Tournament chronicling Goku's adventures in the afterlife excised completely. However, Kai's popularity with overseas markets, including North America, led Toei to begin developing a re-release for the anime series' final storyline focused on the villain Majin Buu. Initially, there was no intent by Toei to continue Kai beyond the Cell Saga, ending the re-release with Goku's heroic sacrifice to save Earth and Gohan's epic last stand destroying the villain. The initial run for Kai ran from 2009 to 2011 for 98 episodes. Saga and drastically reducing Goku's battle against Frieza. It restored and replaced damaged frames, created new opening and closing title sequences and removed filler content not found in the manga, including the complete omission of the Garlic Jr. With the original Dragon Ball Z animation frames having faced the test of time, Toei Animation decided to remaster the old animation in high definition and adjust the aspect ratios for a 20th anniversary re-release.
